Terms of Service

Welcome to EnDiary ("the App"). These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and ThinksView ("we", "us") governing your use of the App. By downloading, installing, or using EnDiary, you agree to these Terms; if you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. The service

EnDiary is an English-diary writing app that provides local writing, AI-generated topics, writing assistance, sentence-by-sentence corrections, progress statistics, and encrypted cloud backup. Local writing works without any account; some features (cloud AI corrections, encrypted backup, subscriptions) require a network connection.

2. Accounts and anonymous identity

EnDiary does not require a traditional registered account. When you use a cloud feature, the App automatically generates a random anonymous device identity used to track quota and subscription entitlements — see our Privacy Policy for details.

3. Subscriptions and payment

• EnDiary offers Plus and Pro auto-renewing subscription tiers; exact pricing, billing period, and included features are shown in the App at the time of purchase.
• Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, via Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device, your subscription will automatically renew and be charged for the selected period.
• If a subscription includes a free trial, cancelling during the trial will not incur any charge; exact terms are shown at the time of purchase.
• We do not offer prorated refunds for the remainder of a paid period; refund requests are handled according to Apple's refund policies and procedures.
• Local writing and iCloud sync remain free forever and are never part of a paid tier.

4. Acceptable use

When using EnDiary, you agree not to:

• use the App to generate, store, or distribute content that violates applicable law;
• attempt to decompile, reverse-engineer, or interfere with or disrupt the App's normal operation;
• abuse AI-related features through automated means beyond reasonable personal learning use.

5. User content

You own the diary entries you write in EnDiary; we make no claim of ownership over them. When you actively use an AI feature (such as corrections or writing assistance), you authorize us to process the relevant content, in the manner described in our Privacy Policy, solely to fulfill that request.

6. Nature of AI-generated content and disclaimer

Topic suggestions, writing suggestions, correction results, weekly reports, and other content in the App are generated by AI models and are provided for English-learning purposes only. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a particular situation, and does not constitute professional educational, exam-preparation, legal, medical, or other professional advice. You are responsible for exercising your own judgment when using these suggestions.

7. Intellectual property

The App's software, interface design, copy, and icons are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, modify, decompile, or use them for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

8. Changes to and interruption of the service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue part or all of the App's features from time to time, with reasonable advance notice where practical. Except where mandatory law provides otherwise, we are not liable for losses arising from such changes, suspension, or discontinuation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete it from your device at any time. We may restrict or terminate your access to part or all of the service if you violate these Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the mandatory laws applicable to you and to us; if any provision of these Terms conflicts with a mandatory law of your jurisdiction, that mandatory law will control.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted in the App or on this page. Continuing to use the App after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
